Becoming an official is a great way to enjoy competitive rhythmic gymnastics! And we need judges in order to offer competitions for our athletes in Manitoba. We’re offering a judging course for all new and former judges who are looking to participate and give back to our sport. The course will be offered over four Friday evenings in November, December, and January.
Provincial Judging Course

Time: 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. (dinner provided)
Location: Sport for Life, 145 Pacific Ave.

This course is designed for new and former judges to learn and apply the 2022-2022 Rhythmic Gymnastics Code of Points. The focus will be on the evaluation of competition routines according to the Rhythmic Gymnastics Individual (RGI) Development Program (levels 1-6). The course will consist of a total of 16 hours of classroom training with theory as well as video learning and analysis. Completion of the course requires attendance and participation in all four sessions (there’s no final examination). Participants who don’t have prior training as a judge will have the opportunity to complete a minimum of four hours of apprentice judging at local competitions prior to taking on a judging assignment as a panel judge.
This course will be free for registered judges of Rhythmic Gymnastics Manitoba. Judges must have their registration and membership fees paid by a club or fill out the RGM Individual Membership Form and submit the membership fee. Courses are available at low or no cost thanks to support through Sport Manitoba.
