Coach Requirements

Respect in Sport course

All coaches are required to complete the Respect in Sport course every 5 years. This course is free when completed through Sport Manitoba’s portal.

First Aid + CPR

Clubs must have a coach with valid First Aid + CPR in the gym at all times.

Child Abuse Registry Check

Coaches are required to complete a Child Abuse Registry Check every year. Volunteers such as judges or apprentice coaches can complete this through RGM at no cost.

Coach Travelling with Athlete

Ensure you meet and fulfill all requirements set to be a coach in Manitoba

• Enhanced criminal record check/Canada-wide police check/International police check – issued within 12 months of the date of the activity being attended

• True Sport Clean 101 Untracked eLearning module
• Coaching Association of Canada Making Head Way in Sport eLearning module

Reporting a Concern

To report a concern or complaint to Rhythmic Gymnastics Manitoba, please follow the process in our Discipline and Complaints policy. Formal complaints can be submitted to the RGM Executive Director.
