Open Positions on the RGM Board of Directors

Rhythmic Gymnastics Manitoba is seeking individuals to join the Board of Directors. The following positions are open for nomination:

VP Finance 1 year term

Events Chairperson 1 year term

Community Development 2 year term

Club Representative 2 year term

To put your name forward for any of these positions, please complete the Nominating Form and Profile – 2016. The nomination form and nominee profile can be submitted to RGM office (email: rhythmic@sportmanitoba.ca or fax: 925-5703).

Kaedyn Lashley named to Canadian National Team

Gymnastics Canada named the 10 Junior and 10 Senior athletes to the 2016/2017 National Team for Rhythmic Gymnastics, including Manitoba’s Kaedyn Lashley. Kaedyn will compete in the Senior Individual category in 2017. The 20 athletes earned their places on the National Team based on results at Elite Canada in Richmond, BC and the Canadian Gymnastics Championships in Winnipeg, MB.

The Annual General Meeting of Rhythmic Gymnastics Manitoba Inc. (“RGM”) will be held at the Sport for Life Centre, 145 Pacific Avenue, Winnipeg, Manitoba, on Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at 6:30 PM for the purpose of transacting the business of RGM pursuant to the following agenda:

1. President’s Welcome
2. Approval of Recording Secretary
3. Roll Call and Quorum
4. Adoption of Agenda
5. Adoption of AGM Minutes, June 9, 2015
6. Directors’ Reports
7. Approval of Auditor’s Report
8. Appointment of Auditors
9. Elections
10. Such other items as may be approved by the Board of Directors

Winnipeg to host the 2016 Canadian Championships

CDN_Champslogo_rev2015_ENCome and experience the grace, skill, and flexibility of rhythmic gymnastics! Gymnasts from BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec and New Brunswick will be in Winnipeg competing for the title of Canadian Champion and for a spot on the Canadian National Team.
