Long Term Athlete Development 2.0 Now Available!

LTAD 2.0

From Canadian Sport for Life:

This consultation paper describes a 7-stage Canadian framework of LTAD, a training, competition, and recovery program based on developmental age – the maturation level of an individual – rather than chronological age.

This resource is an update on CS4L– Long-Term Athlete Development that, in the spirit of “Kaizen” or continuous improvement, builds on the original 2005 Canadian Sport for Life – Long-Term Athlete Development Resource Paper

Coaches Attend Manitoba’s First AGG Course

IMG_2656

Coaches from Manitoba and BC took part in the Aesthetic Group Gymnastics (AGG) Course on December 7 & 8 at the Sport  for Life Centre in Winnipeg, with instructor Alla Kosheleva. The coaches were taught how to instruct and judge AGG, a gymnastics discipline similar to rhythmic gymnastics that is performed in a group and without apparatus. We look forward to seeing the routines in 2014!
