Alexys Purdie and Samantha Pfeil successful at Elite Canada

Alexys Purdie and Samantha Pfeil, both of HPTC International took home awards at the 2019 Elite Canada competition in Rhythmic Gymnastics at the Genesis Centre in Calgary, AB. Both athletes have directly qualified for the Canadian Championships in May.

 

 

Purdie, competing in Senior made the High Performance category for 2019 and finished 8th in the ball final.

 

 

 

 

 

Pfeil, who competes in Junior, made the High Performance category for 2019, finished 8th in the All-Around final, 4th in the ball final, and 6th in the rope final.

Rhythmic Gymnastics Manitoba is pleased to announce the team of gymnasts representing Manitoba at Elite Canada.

What: Elite Canada is held to determine the top junior and senior rhythmic gymnasts in Canada. It is the first opportunity for gymnasts to qualify for the Canadian Championships, serves as selection for the athletes that will represent Canada at major international competitions, and determines who competes in the High Performance category made up of the top 15 athletes in the Junior and Senior categories.
