Become a Rhythmic Gymnastics Coach!

The GF Rhythmic NCCP coaching course is an 8 hour active course taught in the gym. Coaches will learn about body posture, locomotion, apparatus manipulation for rope, hoop, ball, ribbon and scarves and basic skills specific to rhythmic gymnastics. Coaches will be prepared to coach Recreational Rhythmic participants 6 years old and older.

Coaches should first attend the Gymnastics Intro and Theory course offered by Manitoba Gymnastics Association. To register for the RG-Specific course please complete this registration form and submit to the RGM office with a $40 payment.

Season Kick-off and Awards!

Upcoming Provincial Judging Course

Becoming an official is a great way to enjoy competitive rhythmic gymnastics! And we need judges in order to offer competitions for our athletes in Manitoba. We’re offering a judging course for all new and former judges who are looking to participate and give back to our sport. The course will be offered over four Friday evenings in November, December, and January.

Provincial Judging Course 

Dates: November 25, 2022 | December 9, 2022 | January 6, 2023 | January 20, 2023

Time: 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. (dinner provided)

Course Description

This course is designed for new and former judges to learn and apply the 2022-2022 Rhythmic Gymnastics Code of Points. The focus will be on the evaluation of competition routines according to the Rhythmic Gymnastics Individual (RGI) Development Program (levels 1-6). The course will consist of a total of 16 hours of classroom training with theory as well as video learning and analysis. Completion of the course requires attendance and participation in all four sessions (there’s no final examination). Participants who don’t have prior training as a judge will have the opportunity to complete a minimum of four hours of apprentice judging at local competitions prior to taking on a judging assignment as a panel judge.

Course Cost

This course will be free for registered judges of Rhythmic Gymnastics Manitoba. Judges must have their registration and membership fees paid by a club or fill out the RGM Individual Membership Form and submit the membership fee. Courses are available at low or no cost thanks to support through Sport Manitoba.
